The medications below are some that we prescribe to aid in weight loss (appetite suppressants). This list is not all inclusive.
- phentermine (Adiphex-P)
- phentermine (Lomaira) - low dose that can be taken up to 3x daily
- phendimetrazine (Bontril)
- phentermine-topiramate (Qsymia)
- diethylpropion (Tenuate)
- naltrexone/bupropion (Contrave)

NOW AVAILABLE - Once weekly GLP-1 injections administered at home or in our office for weight loss:
- semaglutide (aka Wegovy or Ozempic)
- tirzepatide (aka Zepbound or Mounjaro)
The FDA has approved semaglutide (brand name Wegovy/Ozempic) and tirzepatide (brand name Zepbound/Mounjaro) for long term weight loss. Both medications work by controlling blood sugar but have also shown remarkable weight loss effects. These medications have recently been unavailable from the manufacturer due to high demand. The medications have also not been available to the average consumer due to their high cost.
Many compounding pharmacies are now compounding semaglutide and tirzepatide at a much lower cost. That is great news for consumers!
We are now offering both injectables in our office and in our online store at approximately half of the manufacturers' cost.
